Works with all Unity versions 2020.3+, including 2021, and 2022.
This easy-to-use add-on for all Opsive character controllers version 3.x saves the information listed below in saved games and when changing scenes:
Player’s stats, inventory, position, current scene, and current selected perspective
State of pickups, destructibles, moveables, animators, GameObject active/inactive states, and more
Objects spawned into the scene
Includes support for Ultimate Inventory System.
It also includes:
Scene change portals
Checkpoint save triggers
Save to encrypted disk files, PlayerPrefs, or custom storage
Unlike generic save assets that only save data, the Save System for Opsive Character Controllers saves and restores Opsive’s character systems, executing the routines necessary to put all Opsive components in their proper states. Includes a general purpose save system as well.
No scripting required, but includes complete, thoroughly-documented C# source code.
Easily extended to save your own custom data, too, and includes a starter template script — just add your code where the comments indicate!
Includes third party integration for:
Compass Navigator Pro
Emerald AI (save position & state)
HUD Navigation System
Tactical Shooter AI
Ultimate Inventory System
If your project uses the Dialogue System for Unity or Quest Machine, you don’t need this asset. They already include Opsive character controller support.
If your project uses the older UFPS version 1, use the Save System for UFPS instead.
If your project uses and Opsive controller version 2, contact us for a compatible package.
