Audio Visualization & Playlist System v1.0
Included within this package is a collection of scripts that will help you visualise music/sound. I’ve also thrown in a playlist system for music in case anyone wanted it.
With the scripts you can change the shape / colour of objects depending on the music. Each object can listen for different types of data from the music and adjust through that.
There’s a sample scene included which shows the basics of what you can do with these scripts.
Some ideas of things you could create with this:
– A music player
– A music visualisation player
– Scaling enemies with music beats
– Change the environments colours with the music.
– Scale platforms / traps with music.
– Change the way bullets look and feel with sound.
You could change anything with music, and it can make some really sweet gameplay mechanics! The beauty of this is that you can put some really weird spins on classic mechanics. For example, flappy bird but the platforms scale with the music. Pinball but some obstacles become invisible without music!
I’ve included a readme file which explains everything, all the code is commented too. If you have any questions give me a shout!
Enjoy.
I do not own the music I have included within this package. I had to include it so that the scene would work straight out of the box. The music is royalty free and created by: Ben Sound. The track is called: Endless motion and can be found here: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music/track/endless-motion-edm-electro
