Realistic Car Shaders – Mobile is an asset that contain shaders designed for vehicles and optimised for modern mobile devices. With these shaders you can make your game look like it have realtime reflections! Yes, realtime reflections on MOBILE devices!

This asset is not compatible with URP and HDRP!

2 drag racing sample scenes are included! (Not a full game project, just a demonstration how it can look like with this asset.)

Wheel blurring and car light shaders are included.

Vehicle paint types: Holographic Reflections, Pearlescent Paint (2 coloured body), Flakes/Carbon, Bumped Reflections, and all for this you can add png Decals too which are paintable and scalable!

Diffuse texture can be used to add nonpaintable and not reflective parts. This feature is perfect to add rusty, dirt, damages, scratches …etc effects to your vehicle’s body.

Bumped Reflections are good to add more detail to your vehicle: “orange peel” like paint, water drops effect, and it is also good to create bumped and paintable wood floors for building’s interior scenes.

Glass Shaders are also good for transpant textures, like a car’s grille.

This shaders are not only for vehicles, you can use it for whatever you want. It is also good for buildings floor, furnitures, glass,…etc. It depends on your creativity.

Note that this realtime reflections are not 100% accurate, but it looks way better than a regular cubemap!

Using realtime reflections will add 10 batches to your scene (regarding on the reflections frame rate settings).

For interior scenes like a showroom, I recommend to use cubemaps. Use the realtime reflection solution in scenes where vehicles are moving.

Demo scenes are using a simple script for rotating the camera around the car.
